Nasir al-Mulk Mosque
Known as the "Pink Mosque", Nasīr al-Mulk is a traditional mosque located in Shiraz, Iran, known for its stunning design and colors projected through stained glass windows by the morning sun.
The mosque was designed by Muhammad Hasan-e-Memar and Muhammad Reza Kashi Paz-e-Shirazi and built by the order of Mirza Hasan Ali Nasir al Molk, one of the lords of the Qajar Dynasty. Construction began in 1876 and was finished in 1888. The mosque is still in use today, under protection by Nasir al Mulk’s Endowment Foundation.
