The Addams Family, In Color
Many of us remember the The Addams Family, an American television series created by Charles Addams, running for two seasons from 1964 to 1966.
Though the cast of the mansion at 0001 Cemetery Lane certainly was colorful, each of the 64 episodes were recorded and broadcast in black-and-white. The above photograph shows the original set how it actually looked - with set designers using striking colors to enhance contrast and detail in monochrome productions.
