Henry Ford, Warren Harding, Thomas Edison & Harvey Firestone Camping In Maryland, 1921

Via: wikimedia

Industry, invention and politics are forgotten for an idyllic moment as Henry Ford (L), Warren G. Harding and Harvey C. Firestone (R), listen to Thomas Edison read a newspaper story while camping near Hagerstown, Maryland in 1921.

Between 1914 and 1924, often led by Henry Ford, the self proclaimed "Vagabonds" toured the eastern United States in his company’s automobiles on a series of well-publicized camping trips, often with close friend Thomas Edison, other magnates of industry and as seen above, even an American president.
