The Last Confederate Soldiers

Out of over 1,000,000  Confederates who fought in the American Civil War (1861 - 1865), these three were the last known surviving soldiers who fought for the South. Photo taken at the final reunion of the United Confederate Veterans in Norfolk, 1951.

To think, these men went from loading powder cannons and muskets to witnessing fighter jets and atomic bombs.
